    How children learn at school

Children learn at school in lots of different ways.

They experience new things and copy  people to learn how to do things

They watch and learn form each others. And the teachers tech new students how to do things

Kids collaborate new ideas to show that children learn at school in lots of different ways

children practise their skills to improve learning one of the things they do to is ask questions and 

focus more. they gain knowledge from others by asking and use it to improve their skills

Children are curious to learn things. Not all the time children know what to do so, they ask questions. They learn in many different ways. learning is a big part of their lives. They watch others and copy them.

Revision challenges

I choose to do this to help my maths learning and my time tables the game i played was tables master its like you have to test your time if you can do it really fast. The time i got was 35 seconds.

Kiwican

 

This week is the last set-ions of kiwi can of term 3. And it was a sunny day when we were playing hand soccer, hand soccer is to use your hands and smack the ball and try get it in the goal my team cheered and work as a team and everyone enjoined playing hand soccer

     This week we are learning about elections. For this activity we had to figure out the party names, the        party leader, what they look like, the logo of the party and the locations of the signs for us to vote for them.

Read an ebook day

This was our task to celebrate read an ebook day. The book i read was called red rising it was about

kiwi can

Yesterday we had kiwi can  and we learn about risks for example if some tells some else   to go on the train rail. After that when we talk about risks we went out side to play hand soccer the rules are that you play with your hands and hit the ball and no pushing and no kicking your feet on the ball. And when we were playing the coach could  not see the goal because the other team was blocking their goal and when it was finished we went straight a way to dance.

Learning to use Synonyms

Today me and my writing group learnt to use synonyms. I worked with my partner Christopher. We had to change the boring words into interesting words using synonyms. We thought of different words that mean the same thing to make our sentences more noticeable. I thought this was exciting because we had to look for the synonyms using google dictionary then make sure they made sense in the sentence.

Read theory

Read theory is a reading program that helps us in our reading. It helps grow our knowledge. The site Read Theory give us a different passages to read. When we have finished reading each passage we need to answer different questions relating to text.

   

Tech

Today it was our rotation Our Art teacher was Mr Stag. If you were in food Tech you went to art. Our group went to art it was very fun because we got to listen to music and shade different kind of 3D shapes.

The sun gives plants energy to make food. Our sun is a star. We get day and night by the earth spinning and facing the sun then away from the sun. The moon gets its light from the sun and reflects the light to earth. The sun is made up of burning hydrogen gas, it’s really hot.

Matariki

Today was about matariki and  this is my  poster that shows what is matariki this year has nine stars and the English is called 'tiny eyes' or 'eyes of god'. And also in the other side of the world is called Pleiades people celebrate matariki because to remember from the past and time for a whanau.

Assembly

Last week Harlem H and I were presenting our first time doing a assembly and  we were a little bit nervous and instead were tried our best. Mrs Anderson and  Mrs Kirkpatrick was proud at assembly and what we did was incredible and amazing then Mrs Anderson tick off our care awards.

Dance group A

Today for this week me and oh Hsen finished our dance dlo and  our goal was we tried to put our movements together and with the song is well. we felt like achieved half of our goals we still need to make our angles more sharp and make sure we have perfect timing .

narrative structure

Today I've finished my narrative structure with Joshua and looking for  information  about the story .
it was hard to find the correct order of the  story. When we started doing it I felt brilliant about my self and  my work with Joshua

world of maths

Yesterday i went to world of maths and everyone was collaborating  as a team and 

we had to skip count  in 1's and and my favourite was the frog one you have to jump so one goes to the back and the one at the back goes to the front and you gotta get the patterns right and it was a interesting game i played and i hope will do another time for next week.
